With « Dans les Bois », I wanted to return to this question and the inherent sources that interest me, in order to make up a work that starts with an environment, a passage towards an understanding of sounds, perceptions, presences that come into being in a specific place.
My passionate and innate curiosity for movement above and beyond the senses, above and beyond learning and memory, in an age long lineage with the elements, leads me back to the forest.

I also want to dig deeper into my personal axes of research which are of importance to me, and confront them with nature, face to face.

Haïkus ; short Japanese poem.
Haïkus likes to stroll, haïkus is an instant; insects, Spring, noises, colours …haïku lives for today, for the tiny detail, the minute events of life. The poem invites the author to be free, aware, straightforward.
Writing this way is the same as writing in a choreographic way because the composition is instantaneous.

Haïkus is a choreographic invitation to a journey. Just like Haïkus poetry, the sequences are short, written on the spot, inspired by the surroundings, the light of day, the countryside, someone watching the show.
Two dancers and a musician improvise at different moments of the journey either as soloists, or in duos or trios. A relationship is established with the public. Dance is all around, next to each and everyone of them; a pat on the shoulder, a brush to get past…a delicat and sensitive interaction.

After Haïkus we organise a dialogue with the public on the question of instantaneous composition and the relationship between music and dance, musicians and dancers in this work.
